Denmark: DHL, JYSK Nordic sign five-year supply chain contract extension

Germany-based courier company, DHL International Supply Chain (DHL), has signed a contract extension of five years with Danish retail company, JYSK Nordic. DHL is to manage inbound flows of JYSK Nordic with an integrated supply chain solution as part of the agreement, which also includes Purchase Order management services and online vendor booking. JYSK Nordic, which retails household products like interior décor, furniture and mattresses, currently has a network of over 2,500 stores in 48 countries. DHL will continue to operate an annual volume of around 55,000 twenty-foot equivalent unionts (TEUs) into the EMEA region. The TEUs are predominantly from Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and the Mediterranean.
