Denmark: DSV presents solid H1 2017 results

Danish logistics and transport group DSV posted strong interim report for H1 2017. The group's CEO Jens Bjørn Andersen stated in a press release that with more than 50% growth in earnings and cash flow the group is very satisfied with the H1 2017 performance.
Turnover increased by almost 13% to DKK 37.10bn (EUR 4.99bn USD 5.86bn) in the period compared with H1 2016. Profit before tax increased to DKK 1.8bn from DKK 774mn. Adjusted earnings for H1 2017 amounted to DKK 1.6bn compared with DKK 1.1bn in 2016.
DSV upgrades its expectations for the year and starts a new share buyback programme of DKK 1bn.
