The Port of Hanstholm (Hanstholm Havn) in Denmark has signed a contract with GPP Vind, a subsidiary of Green Power Partners II Group, for the erection of three wind turbines in the port area. The new turbines are expected to have a capacity of 3.45 MW, will replace the four existing turbines in the ports. The new turbines can produce three times as much electricity as the present turbines. Vestas is expected to be the supplier of the new turbines. The contract is part of a major plan to expand the Port of Hanstholm.
