Denmark: Strong interim report from DFDS

Danish ferry operator and logistics company DFDS posted strong Q2 2017 results. The company's turnover increased by 3% to DKK 3.70bn (EUR 497.37mn USD 588mn) and operating profit improved by 6% to DKK 738mn compared with Q2 2016. Profit before tax increased by 11.6% to DKK 495mn.
CEO Niels Smedegaard states in the interim report that the activity in the group's route and logistics network reflects Europe's growth.
