Estonia/Finland: Ro-ro cargo traffic between Muuga and Vuosaari

The Government of Estonia has approved adjusting the borders of the Muuga free economic zone, to set up regular ro-ro cargo traffic between Muuga of Port of Tallinn, and Vuosaari terminal, Port of Helsinki. Tallink operated Sea Wind, passenger/ ro-ro cargo ship, will start traffic between Muuga and Vuosaari in October 2017. The ro-ro line between Vuosaari and Muuga, would reduce traffic load in Tallinn Old Harbour and would redirect a fourth of freight traffic from Finland to bypass central Tallinn.
