France: Cdiscount has implemented Exotec Solutions' Skypod robots

To speed up order preparation time, Cdiscount has implemented Exotec Solutions' Skypod robots, which can move about the warehouse floor and climb stock shelves up to 10m to retrieve items at the Cdiscount warehouse in Cestas (Gironde). The Skypod system for preparing orders allows Cdiscount to significantly increase productivity and storage density while simultaneously improving working conditions. Robot operators remain stationary while directing the robots to find products to be prepared for delivery.
