Germany: Deutsche Bahn to create new board divisions

The German federal transport minister Alexander Dobrindt has said that the German rail operator Deutsche Bahn (DB) will place increased importance on its freight transport division and on its digitalisation strategy in the future. He said the company plans to create new divisions on its supervisory board. It will crease a new digitalisation division, a freight transport division and a division for its Schenker logistics subsidiary.
