Germany: LSA works on digital solutions to optimise logistics

The German logistics planning and management company LSA Logistik Service Agentur is developing an app, in a joint project with the German research institution Fraunhofer, to optimise manufacturing logistics for rotor blade production, with the aim of reducing costs by 6%. Manufacturing logistics currently accounts for between 12% and 18% of the total costs for rotor blade production.
