Germany: Parcel delivery staff to use data glasses, says Siemens

According to Thomas Bayer from Siemens' Postal division, in two to three years parcel delivery staff will commonly use data glasses. The devices could be used for sorting parcels or finding addresses, for example, Bayer said. He believes that this will make parcel delivery staff's work more efficient. Today the problem is that the glasses are still to large for longer use. In the case of parcel delivery staff they must not be disturbing when staff are driving. So far smart glasses are already being used by warehouse staff.
