Under a cooperation with local food retailers: grocery store operator Kochhaus and organic food supermarket firm basic, the Prime Now express delivery service has been launched in Berlin, Germany by US-based electronic commerce retailer Amazon. Prime members in Munich and Berlin that pay EUR 8.99 (USD 9.52) monthly or EUR 69 annually will have access to the service. In the near future, the Prime Now service will be expanded to other regions. A minimal order value of EUR 20 applies to the shops of Kochhaus and basic and for Prime Now. Kochhaus provides delivery from 10am to 10pm, while basic's delivery is between 8am and 12am. Customers may either pay EUR 6.99 for a one-hour delivery or get a two-hour delivery time slot for free.
