The cargo turnover of Lithuania's Klaipeda State Seaport totalled 10.303mn tons in the first quarter of 2017, which was up 2.8% from 10.021mn tons in the same period of 2016. Bulk cargoes accounted for 4.64mn tons (up 23.4%), general cargoes for 2.981mn tons (down 2.1%), and liquid cargoes for 2.682mn tons (down 16.6) of the total. Altogether 1,622 vessels docked at the port in the first quarter of 2017, compared to 1,625 a year earlier.
