Anglo-Dutch oil and gas company Shell wants to launch a national petrol delivery service in the Netherlands and will launch the new subsidiary TapUp for this. The petrol will be delivered when the customers wants and to where with a tank vehicle. The order can be placed on mobile devices. The service will be launched as a pilot in Rotterdam to test demand for the service. TapUp can compete with petrol stations of Shell, some of which are franchised.
