Russia: Transport software allows to mitigate impact of truckers strike

According to Traft-OnLine freight monitoring system, nationwide strike of truck drivers, which started on 27 March, has not caused significant problems with supply of stores in regions, where freight traffic management software penetration level is high. Logistics and retail operators, which use systems of traffic monitoring and control, may timely redistribute loads to cars, drivers of which do not participate in the strike. Delays in deliveries in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, where transport IT solution penetration is the highest, does not exceed a few hours. Significant interruptions started in Trans-Urals from 5-6 April, as IT solutions penetration level there is the lowest.
