The Swedish branch of chemicals company Akzo Nobel has announced that the ongoing labour conflict in the Port of Gothenburg may have long term effects for the company's strategy in Sweden. Swedish CEO Lars Andersson says that the company might invest in other locations than Sweden as part of its long term strategy if the conflict is not resolved. Akzo Nobel has lost several million SEK in the past half year because of reduced capacity in the port. About 10% of the total production in Akzo Nobel is currently located in Sweden.
