Sweden: Ica Group and H&M among largest companies in the Nordic

Sweden-based retailer Ica Group increased its sales by 16% in the year 2015. With that development, Ica Group climbed the most on the list of the largest Nordic companies. Ica group rose from number 26 to 17 on the list, which is based on annual sales of the year 2015.
Sweden-based clothing-retail company H&M rose by one position and is now the fifth largest company in Nordic area. Sales of H&M increased by 19% in 2015.
Other companies that are linked to trade on the list are Arla Foods (20th place), Carlsberg (29), Kesko (30), Norgesgruppen (36), Dansk Supermarked (37) and Axel Johnson, owner of Åhléns and Axfood, (40).
The three largest Nordic companies in 2016 are, as well as were in 2015, Statoil, AP Møller-Mærsk and Volvo.
