Swedish logistics company VSV has intentions of developing a new kind of logging truck that uses modern Virtual Reality (VR) techniques for loading the truck. The driver will with the help of VR glasses be able to load the truck without going up on the crane. A new crane that facilitates for easier unloading will also be introduced. The new loading techniques are estimated to improve safety and efficiency. The new truck is estimated to be in operation by the end of March 2017.
