Sweden: Port of Gothenburg affected by ransomware cyber attack

In Sweden, the Port of Gothenburg has been affected by a ransomware cyber attack. Several news outlets reported about a suspected attack taking place globally on 27 June, and according to Annika Hilmersson, head of communications at port operator APM Terminals, all IT systems are down. She further states that the company is hard at work trying to ensure proper offloading of ships manually, but that APM has also urged its clients not to disembark any goods at the port. According to news agency Reuters, a total of 17 container shipping terminals controlled by APM Terminals have been affected by the attack worldwide.
