Port of Södertälje (Södertälje Hamn) is working determinedly to take global responsibility for the climate. Its main focus now is on reducing emissions of carbon dioxide as it represents 80% of greenhouse gases. In addition to bicycles and electric cars, Port of Södertälje has for one year now been using the environmentally advantageous propellant HVO100 for their vehicles, machinery and cranes. Port of Södertälje is also participating in its parent company Telge's overall energy audit. It aims to promote improved energy efficiency in large companies, says Tomas Zackrisson, head of environmental issues at Port of Södertälje.
