Sweden: Scania presents Scania One platform

Swedish truck and bus manufacturer Scania has presented new platform Scania One at Mobile World Congress (MWC). Scania One will function as a technological platform for vehicles with telecom connections. It is based on an open architecture model and includes a simplified version of the Scania Fleet Management programme. The general objective is to make the road transport sector more effective. Software is supplied by Swedish ICT company Ericsson. This is the first product launched by Ericsson in its Connected Vehicle Marketplace platform.
