Sweden: Sveaskog to discontinue agreement with Lots Group

Swedish government-owned forest owner Sveaskog has initiated a dialogue with sustainable logistics company Lots Group regarding discontinuation of a cooperation on transport management for timber shipments in south Bergslagen. The dialogue was reportedly initiated because of Sveaskog's dissatisfaction with Lots Group's handling of the transport management. Sources to the newspaper claimed that Sveaskog has recorded a decrease in quality since delivery schedules have not been fulfilled. Lots Group stated that the reasons for discontinuation of the agreement after just 11 weeks is unclear but it is evident that the parties do not have a common view.
