Sweden: Trafikverket conclude report on BK4 road suitabilty

The Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) has published its report over which roads are suitable for the new heavy trucks classification BK4. The report shows that 8% of the road network, the equivalent of about 8,000 kilometres across five individual geographical areas, will be able to handle trucks with 74 tonnes of gross load. The report shows that it is primarily forest-dense areas which will be able to handle the increased gross loads.
