Sweden: Trafikverket discontinues reporting of punctuality in rail cargo

The Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) will discontinue its reporting of punctuality in cargo trains. This task will instead be handled by the individual rail cargo transport companies. The change is due to the fact that it is difficult for Trafikverket to report exactly when cargo is delivered to its destination. The actual arrival times of cargo trains will continue to be published online by Trafikverket however. It will also retain the responsibility for reporting punctuality in passenger rail transport.
