Sweden: Ur&Penn launches fully automatic warehouse logistics

Swedish clock and accessories retailer Ur&Penn has launched a fully automatic logistics system in its central warehouse in Stockholm. Manual sorting and order picking has been replaced by a new picking solution from Weland Lagersystem. This includes an automated lift device named Compact Twin as well as the Compact Store and Put To Light solutions. This has increased the pace from 250 to 1,500 picked orders per hour.
