In the first half of 2017, seaports of Ukraine handled 66.30mn tons of cargo. The figure increased by 5% year on year. The volume of export cargoes amounted to 50.90mn tons (+5.4%), import to 9.40mn tons (+17.6%) and transit - to 5.30mn tons (+1.9%), coastal - to 600,000 tons (-61.4%). Transshipment of containers amounted to 300,000 TEU (+6.2%), dry cargo - to 47,600 tons (+8.1%), liquid cargoes - to 5.70mn tons (+11.4%).
